Best Soccer Betting Sites for Brazilian Players

Our experts have compiled a list of the industry’s best sites for Brazilian players to bet on soccer:

Types of Online Soccer Bets

Half/Full Time Result

Half/Full Time Result

Wager on the final game score at halftime, and when over.

Bet on what you think the half time score will be, and what the final score of the game will be.

To place a full-time soccer bet online, wager on what you think the game result will be at the end of game time (full time, and whether it includes overtime is defined by official league rules). Brazilian players decide on whether a team will win, lose or tie.

Three-way Moneyline Example

Three-way Moneyline Example

Similar to full time result wagers—Bet on who will win, lose or tie.

Similar to full time result betting, you bet on who will win, lose or if the game will be a draw.

Like we said, three-way moneyline soccer bets are similar to full time result wagers—The main difference between the two, are moneyline bets don’t include any overtime or other extra incurred game time.

Three-way Moneyline Example

For example, let’s say these are the props:

  • Flamengo: -145 (1.69)
  • Draw: +250 (3.50)
  • Palmeiras: +400 (5.00)

In our scenario, Flamengo is the favorite – so you’ll have to pay $145 for a shot at winning $100. The draw is less likely, so if you bet $100 on this line, you’re going to win $240 if your prediction was right. Palmeiras is considered the underdog, so betting $100 on that team will result in a $400 payoff if your team manages to win the match.

Double Chance Bet

Double Chance Bet

Bet on just one outcome of the game.

Bet on if the home team will win or draw, or if the away team will win or draw.

Double chance bets in soccer differ from three-way money line or full-time result bets, as they let the player wager on two outcomes instead of one. Brazilian players can bet on if the home soccer team will win or tie, or if the away team will win or tie.

Double Chance Bet Example

Let’s use a similar example as we used for three-way money lines. These are the props:

  • Corinthians: -145
  • Internacional: +400
  • Draw: +250

So, in this example, you’ll bet on either a Corinthians win or tie, or a Internacional win or tie.

Draw No Bet

Draw No Bet

Very simple—You can’t bet on if there will be a draw—Bet on who will win or lose.

Soccer draw no bets remove the option of a game tie from the bet options.

As you’ve probably realized, online soccer betting types involve the result of the game more than a point spread. When players place a draw no bet, if the game results in a draw (also known as a tie) your bet will be returned.

Draw No Bet Example

This one is easy, but here’s an example of a draw no bet in soccer. Here are the odds:

  • Grêmio: -145
  • São Paulo: +400

Players will bet on if they think Grêmio will win and São Paulo will lose, or if São Paulo will win, and Grêmio will lose.

Asian Handicap

Asian Handicap

This type of soccer bet gives the less favored team, or underdog, an advantage.

Players have two options to bet on (the game’s outcome), but, with an advantage.

With an Asian Handicap in online soccer bets, players must select which team will win or lose—However, the favored team must win by a particular margin.

Asian Handicap Example

For example, let’s say Fluminense is listed on the Asian handicap at -1.0 and -1.5 against Santos, with odds of 1.55. The odds apply to both scenarios – so if Fluminense win by two or more goals, you would cash both bets at 1.55; if Fluminense wins by one, the first bet is a push (and therefore returned) while the second loses; if Flu draws or loses, both bets lose.

Goal Line (Also known as Over/Unders) Betting

Goal Line (Also known as Over/Unders) Betting

Wager on total number of goals.

Rather than bet on which soccer team will win or lose, players wager on the number of goals scored during the game.

This type of soccer betting doesn’t require players to wager on the final outcome of the game, rather the total number of goals scored. Typically, the sportsbook will set the number of goals to be scored by both teams, and the player wagers on if there will be more, or less goals scored.

Goal Line or Over/Unders Betting Example

For example, if the total is set at 2.5 goals, winning an over bet would require both team to score three goals or more. Conversely, winning an under bet would be possible only if the combined score of both teams is 2, 1 or 0.

Soccer Futures (or Outrights)

Soccer Futures (or Outrights)

Wager on the winner of the game, or tournament, before it starts.

With more options than most types of soccer bets, futures allow you to wager on soccer event outcomes well in advance to the game, tournament or championship happening.

Soccer futures require players to bet on what they believe the final outcome will be. Although this may sound similar to three-way moneylines, double chance bets or even draw no bets, futures give the player a few more options.

Soccer Futures Example

For example, you might bet on the outright winner, which teams will finish in the top 4, who will finish in the top 6 and even which teams will finish in the top and bottom half of the league. Most sports betting sites allow you to put your money on one of the teams in Premier League, Libertadores, Champions League and Campeonato Brasileiro, but as you’d expect, sites that cater to fans of regional soccer leagues are more than likely to offer additional markets.

Recommended Soccer Betting Strategy

Home field matters—A lot.

Even the most mediocre team tends to win sometime when they play soccer in their home stadium. If you’re unsure of who to bet on, try betting on the home team when playing in their home stadium.

Know All About Asian Handicaps

It might seem complicated at first, but Asian handicaps are great way to get action on a soccer game while also taking the draw out of play.

With Asian handicaps in soccer, bettors choose between one or two handicaps, with soccer odds attached to each. For example, let’s say Vasco is listed on the Asian handicap at -1.0 and -1.5 against Cruzeiro, with odds of 1.55. The odds apply to both scenarios—So if Vasco wins by two or more goals, both bets are cashed at 1.55; if Vasco wins by one, the first bet is a push (and therefore returned) while the second loses; if Vasco draws or loses, both bets lose.

The best players, usually are the best.

It might seem like commonsense, but it’s often tempting to bet on the underdog—However, the best players are almost always the best players.

The majority of elite teams have one or two superstar scoring options. And there’s plenty of money to be made in selecting these players to score anytime goals, since you’re not bound by when they score – only that they do. Bettors should keep a particularly close eye on elite players in games where their team is heavily favored; those games produce plenty of scoring chances, and by extension, great player prop plays.
