It’s Brooks Koepka’s and Rory McIlroy’s tour, Tiger Woods is just playing on it … for now. With the first round of the 2020 PGA Championship just a few days away, Koepka’s odds to win the tour’s first major of the 2020 golf betting season are +1000 (or 10-to-1), tied with Justin Thomas as the favorite to win, while McIlroy’s +1400 odds are well ahead of Woods’ who currently checks in at +3000 (or 30-to-1) at Bovada and +2800 at BetOnline. In fact, Koepka’s and McIlroy’s futures odds heading into each of the three PGA majors are ranked among the top three favorites to win. However, as we learned just last year at Augusta National Golf Course and during the final round of The Masters, with Tiger Woods, anything is possible.

PGA Championship 2020 Odds

Here are the favorites to win the 2020 PGA Championship at San Francisco’s TPC Harding Park. The first round is slated to tee off Thursday August 6th.

At Bovada At BetOnline
Brooks Koepka +1000 Brooks Koepka +1000
Justin Thomas +1000 Justin Thomas +1000
John Rahm +1400 DeChambeau/McIlroy/Rahm +1400
Rory McIlroy +1400 Xander Schauffele +1800
Tiger Woods +3000 Tiger Woods +2800

Prior to the PGA’s pandemic pause, Woods was playing some great golf with three top 10 finishes through his first four tournaments. However, in his only appearance since the season restart, he shot 6-over at the Memorial Tournament in Columbus to finish 40th. It’ll be interesting to see if that solo tournament tune-up will cost Woods come this weekend at the PGA Championship.

U.S. Open 2020 Odds

Here are the favorites to win the 2020 U.S. Open at Winged Foot Golf Club September 17th-20th.

At Bovada At BetOnline
Rory McIlroy +800 Brooks Koepka +1000
Brooks Koepka +1200 Rory McIlroy +1000
Dechambeau/D. Johnson/Rahm +1200 Jon Rahm +1200
Justin Thomas +1600 Dechambeau/D. Johnson +1400
Tiger Woods +1600 Tiger Woods +2200

Though it’s been awhile, and several reconstructive surgeries later, Woods has struggled at Winged Foot in the past. He finished tied for 29th at the 1997 PGA Championship and actually missed the cut at the 2006 U.S. Open.

The Masters 2020 Odds

Here are the favorites to win the 2020 Masters tournament at Augusta National Golf Club, November 12th-15th.

At Bovada At BetOnline
Rory McIlroy +700 Rory McIlroy +750
Dechambeau/Rahm/Thomas +1200 Brooks Koepka +1200
Tiger Woods +1200 Dechambeau/Rahm/Thomas +1200
Brooks Koepka +1400 Tiger Woods +1400
D. Johnson / Cantlay +1600 Dustin Johnson +1800

Tiger Woods’ five green jackets are an impressive wardrobe and clubhouse closet collection, but speaks of the past and not of the challenge before him this November down in Georgia. Heavy favorite, and rival, McIlroy ripped off six consecutive top 5 finishes to start the 2019-20 PGA season. Since returning to the course back in June, he’s placed outside the top 30 in four of his five events. As for Koepka’s season reboot, the big guy’s been all over the map with a 7th-place and 2nd-place finish paired with two missed cuts.
