Bestbet Jacksonville To Host Spring Series
It was recently announced that the bestbet Jacksonville casino will be the place to host Spring Series tournament poker from March 18th to the 28th. The 2021 bestbet Spring Series currently has 11 events scheduled with a $2,5000 buy-in Main Event that will start all players with 25,000 chips.
The series will start with a $560 buy-in Kickoff event that will last for the first three days of the festivities. So far, there has been plenty of signups as players are looking to get a piece of the early pie. With many other exciting events planned to take place shortly after that comes to a close.
This series comes right after their super successful 2021 bestbet Jacksonville Winter Open that gave away $1,621,557 in total prize money and reeled in 2,330 total entries.
Hopefully, this series is able to generate the same excitement and prizes that their last series had with some momentum on their side. As a matter of fact, the spring series was launched due to the fact that there was so much enthusiasm for the winter event.
Adams, Dzivielsevski Win MILLIONS Online High Roller Titles
This past week had another important day in the 2021 partypoker MILLIONS Online. There were three new winners on February 16th with Timothy Adams, Stoyan Kitanov and Yuri Dzivielevski all collecting big prizes. Dzivielevski had won the MILLIONS Online #03 6-Max High Roller event, which saw him defeat 57 total entries and claim the biggest chunk out of the $570,000 prize pool.
The event lasted around seven and a half hours, but he was ultimately able to come out on-top and take home $184,637—Having to defeat the legendary Justin Bonomo in heads-up play as well.
As for Timothy Adams, he won his prize later during the MILLIONS Online #04 6-Max High Roller Turbo. There was a total of 58 other entrants to create a $280,000 prize pool with their $5,200 buy-in. Even though it was a star-studded field of participants, Adams cruised his way through the competition in just over five hours of action. He walked away from the event with $78,833 after defeating Elio Fox and Jake Schindler, who finished in second and third place. It wasn’t an easy path to victory but he survived.
Justin Ouimette Wins PartyPoker MILLIONS Online Main Event
It was a fantastic week for Justin Ouimette as he was able to top the competition and finish first place in the MILLIONS Online #01 Mini Main Event that featured a $1,127,000 guarantee. After about two days of hard-fought competition, the field of 1,127 total entries was whittled down to nine.
At the time, Ouimette was in fourth place. Fast forward about six and a half hours later and he was able to come out on top in order to win a giant prize of $184,507. This wasn’t his first career victory, though, as many know him as an online grinder with just about $4 million in total cashes.
Ouimette is about 143rd in the entire world with his most recent victory clocking in as his highest score yet. It is safe to say that this isn’t the last time we will hear from him, as his career still has a long way to go.
