Expert Consensus

Everygame Poker is one of the oldest and best places to play online poker, having been around since the mid-1990s. With a first deposit bonus of 200% up to $1,000, we believe that they offer one of the most rewarding packages to new sign-ups out there and have consistently provided a quality product to match that opening offer.

Everygame tournaments include the Triple 9, Sunday Sundowner and infamous ‘Wipeout’ Series, and if you’re a really good player, you can pitch yourself as a Twitch streamer to the poker room and ‘go pro’ with Everygame itself. All in all, we highly recommend you check out Everygame Poker today!

About Everygame Poker

The Everygame brand predates the internet – going all the way back to 1983. Started online in 1996, Everygame poker offers a Canadian online gambling portal with online poker, online casino, and sports betting sections. This review focuses on the poker room. The software will be familiar to players who have been enjoying online poker rooms for a while. This is based on the former Cake Poker network, now renamed as the Horizon Poker network.

You’ll find players from all over the world (though not the UK, Australia or France) enjoying smaller stakes No Limit Holdem and Pot Limit Omaha. With a big 200% welcome bonus and a highly regarded loyalty program, the rewards are excellent too.

Everygame Poker Pros

  • Industry-standard welcome bonus + casino spins
  • Loyalty rewards, play more & cash more
  • Guaranteed money pool tournaments
  • Mobile devices instant play
  • Long track record as a trusted site

Everygame Poker Cons

  • Software could be stronger
  • High withdrawal fees
  • Small tournament pools
  • Low high-stakes traffic

Everygame Poker impresses us with a huge range of tournaments and a massive welcome bonus of up to $1,000!

Welcome Bonus

We were surprised to learn that, unusually, Everygame combines an online casino free spins bonus with their poker welcome bonus. Even if you don’t normally play casino games – having 25 free shots at a slot win could boost your bankroll.

Everygame poker offers a welcome casino bonus is based on your first deposit at a 200% match up to $1,000. I like the fact that you have a full 90 days to clear this bonus. It is paid to your account in $5 increments, based on collecting points at the real money tables. This means that if you do not complete the full bonus in 90 days, you will not lose out on at least a good part of it.

This is a simple sign-up bonus and is boosted by plenty of extra rewards for loyal players.

Weekly Promotions

Everygame will offer their players reload bonuses that you will have to keep an eye on your email for. There is also a no deposit bonus at Everygame, which you should take advantage of as it is a rarity in the online poker industry.

We found that there are more promotions as well that are more time-sensitive, so it pays to check out the Everygame Poker Promotions page to make sure you are not missing out.

Loyalty Program

We discovered that loyal players will be rewarded via a VIP program that works on FPPs (frequent player points), which can be converted to Gold Chips. This program is more complex than some. It has 50 levels, each with tiers within it, but the Gold Chips add cash to your account.

Bonus payouts come whenever you earn enough points to complete a tier. As you move through the levels, these bonuses get bigger and better. If you move up quickly, you get special ‘turbo’ bonuses. You can take some time out from play without losing your current level. To fall down the levels, you need to clock up 3 months without earning enough FPPs to remain there.

In addition to FPPs, you’ll collect gold coins while you play. These can be exchanged for extra bonuses. Clearing those works in the same way as the welcome bonus. There are also reload bonuses available.

Topping it off are FPP races. These are short leader board style contests, where you compete with other players to clock up the most play.

Poker Games at Everygame

We found that Everygame Poker is not the biggest online poker room, which means the action is focused on the smaller stakes. With a global player base, it was our experience that you find the most activity in the evenings in both Europe and the US.

No-Limit Texas Hold’em attracts the most action in real money poker games, with 6-max the table size of choice. You can play for pennies (1c / 2c blinds) and will find action up to $1 / $2 on a regular basis – with only a few tables above that. Pot Limit Omaha also attracts players, again you can expect most of the action to be at the micro / lower stakes levels.

The only other poker games are Omaha Hi-lo, and Telsina (a stud variant that does not see much action).

Tournaments and Sit n Goes

Smaller poker sites are not able to offer big guaranteed prizes like their larger rivals. While the tournament selection at Everygame is growing – this is from a small base. You will need to wait for even the smallest Sit N Go to fill up, and the biggest guarantee of the week is only $4,000 in their Sunday tournament.

On the positive side, smaller tournaments attract a lot of loose players – and the field sizes are manageable too. Instead of battling through fields of 1000’s, you’ll find 100 or so even at the lower stakes.

Occasionally, you will find satellite qualifiers to live events. These include poker games where you can win a trip to the Caribbean and take part in big prize-pool events.

Banking Methods

We were pleased to find that there are a lot of different ways to get your money on board at Everygame. Which are available to you will depend on where you live.

For Canadian players, the list is limited by the banking regulations. Here are the options:

  • Bitcoin: This is the most secure payment method and is now very easy to set up and use. Your BTC poker deposit will be immediately exchanged for dollars, so you don’t even need to hold Bitcoin for long. This is also the fastest payout method.
  • Credit Cards: Visa or MasterCard can be used for deposits, though not for withdrawals. The usual withdrawal method for credit card deposits is via a paper check or bank wire.
  • Prepaid Cards: Visa cards that you can buy from convenience stores are a backup option. We recommend chatting with the Everygame support team to find out which brands work best.

In our experience, cryptocurrencies are the best banking methods for Everygame Poker. The payments are processed very quickly and come with no fees.

Note that there are fees attached to some withdrawal methods. These do not apply to the eWallets or SEPA withdrawals.

Everygame Casino Mobile Gaming

There have been many updates to the poker software since the old Cake network days – though the tables will still look familiar to anyone that remembers Cake. You play with an angled 3D effect, with an avatar character on each seat. At Everygame Poker, the design is a smart red and black.

We found that you can now access the poker software in two ways. In the past, you needed to download the full software client to access the tables. This has now been joined by an instant-play version. We were pleased to learn that you can play poker in a web browser on desktop or on your phone for some mobile poker.

Navigation through the lobby is straightforward. This follows standard online poker rooms format of different formats (tournaments, cash games and so on), with the game options (Holdem / Omaha) beneath. Once you get to the table list, you can use filters to find the stakes and table size that suits you best.

Everygame uses the slogan ‘Trust the First’ on their homepage. This alludes to their claim to be one of the first gambling sites to hit the internet. With more than 20 years’ track record behind them, Everygame is now one of the best-trusted brands around. We were happy to discover that they have no scandals or payment issues from their casino, sportsbook, or online poker rooms.
