The winter period offers players around the world the chance to batten down the hatches and play some online poker at the turn of the year. How Many WSOP Circuit Ring Events Are There?

“Just as winter starts cooling things down, GGPoker heats the poker world back up!” ~ Daniel Negreanu, GGPoker Global Ambassador

Just like in recent years, this year’s GGPoker WSOP Winter Circuit Series features 18 World Series of Poker Circuit Ring events. These range in buy-in from $50 right up to $10,300, with 18 WSOP gold rings on offer during the festive and New Year periods.

Everyone who wins a WSOP Circuit Ring event during the 2022 Winter Series will receive an invitation to a rather exclusive freeroll. Taking place in Las Vegas in the summer of 2023, there are a million dollars on offer and with no buy-in, it’s a free hit at glory.

Whoever wins the crown jewel of this year’s WSOP Winter Series on GGPoker, the $1,700-entry Main Event, will also be invited to join the poker brand’s Team Champion, who along with other Main Event winners, will be a truly prestigious addition to Team GG.

“As always, just as winter starts cooling things down, GGPoker heats the poker world back up again with the blazing excitement of the WSOP Winter Circuit,” Daniel Negreanu, GGPoker Global Ambassador, said when asked about the Winter Series.  “There’s more to be won than ever before, along with WSOP gold and tournament glory — it’s time to take a seat and claim your ring!”

Winter Chills GGPoker

While winter brings chills, this year’s WSOP Winter Circuit Ring Series on GGPoker is guaranteed to give you thrills, and $150m in prizepools!

What are the Biggest Events in the 2022 WSOP Winter Series?

There’s no question that some of the biggest events are going to be incredibly popular. The $1,700 Main Event we already mentioned has a guaranteed prizepool of $10 million and plays to a winner right at the end of the series on January 9th, 2023.

Other big events will conclude a lot earlier, with the first event just $50 to enter but with a million-dollar guarantee. Event #1 is the BIG 50 Bounty MILLION$ Kick-Off, and its final stage takes place on December 5th, before many mince pies will even have been warmed.

If winning a Christmas present bankroll in the six figures doesn’t grab you, what about the Merry MILLIONAIRE MAKER? Costing $1,500 to play, it concludes a week after the opening event on December 12th and has a $5 million guarantee which is sure to fill it up like one of Santa’s stockings.

The $10,300 Super MILLION$ High Rollers event takes place on December 5th too, or at least the final day does. That will take the place of the regular Super MILLION$ weekly event on GGPoker, but still has the same buy-in ($10,300). Expect the very best to put up their dollars for that one.

With 18 events across a wide range of buy-ins, there really is something for everybody taking place on the schedule. Event #15 is sure to be one of the most popular, as the $210-entry New Year’s Mystery Bounty event’s final stage is center stage on January 2nd as many festive revellers’ hangovers are still fading. With a $250,000 top bounty and over $2 million guaranteed, it’s unmissable.

Elsewhere the $1,500 buy-in Deepstack Championship is sure to be popular with poker purists and comes to a conclusion on December 20th, while the ‘Naughty or Nice’ Bounty NLHE Event #12 ends on December 22nd, just in time for winners to look forward to a big sackful of presents rather than one filled with coal.

With other events such as the $400-entry CHRISTMAS COLOSSUS, the $320-entry ‘Santa’s Sled’ and $525-entry ‘Winter is Coming’ Bounty events all offering Yuletide mirth on top of huge guarantees, there’s no better time to fire up your GGPoker account and shot for glory.
