Late Registration Option
Let’s say you’ve been looking forward to a poker tournament all week, but get stuck in traffic and will be 30 minutes late for the start of the action. Depending on the buy-in and tourney structure, Americas Cardroom allows late registration up to 180 minutes. Not only does this cover players in time of traffic jams and unexpected delays, but by allowing late players in, it allows for larger prize pools. It’s also a great feature for those who get knocked out of a tournament early and are interested in buying back after thinking on it.
