After the shocking events of the Royal Rumble which saw Sami Zayn dramatically turn on Roman Reigns, WWE betting fans are excitedly awaiting the next stop on the road to WrestleMania: Elimination Chamber. This year’s Elimination Chamber is even more thrilling as takes place in Zayn’s hometown of Montreal.
Although online sports betting fanatics are normally used to robust challenges at the Bell Centre, home to the NHL betting favorites the Canadiens, the Elimination Chamber promises to be the most brutal stop on the road to WrestleMania 39.
In addition to the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship match, there are two marquee Elimination Chamber matches as well as the returns of Brock Lesnar, Beth Phoenix, and Edge.

Undisputed WWE Universal Championship Match – Roman Reigns
Wrestler | Latest WWE Odds |
Roman Reigns (c) | -2,000 |
Sami Zayn | +700 |
At many Royal Rumbles, the shock of the night comes at the conclusion of the namesake matches. At this year’s Rumble, however, the shock came after a brutal post-title match assault of Kevin Owens by the Bloodline. Rather than attack his long-time friend Owens, Zayn instead turned the steel chair on the Undisputed Champion, Roman Reigns.
In a stunning betrayal, Zayn struck a blow to the Bloodline before he was decimated by Jimmy Uso and Solo Sikoa. In a brutal scene which caused Jey Uso to walk away from the Bloodline, Zayn became an even bigger superstar than ever before.
For the first time in almost three years, cracks have started to form in the Bloodline. Although Jey Uso supports his twin brother, his allegiances to Roman are now in question. Normally Roman Reigns can count on the Usos, Sikoa, and Zayn to support him, but at Elimination Chamber he can probably only rely on Sikoa.
That being said, I don’t believe that Sami Zayn will be able to wrangle the titles away from Reigns at Elimination Chamber. It’s not that I don’t believe that Zayn has the ability or popularity, rather that this doesn’t feel like the conclusion to Reigns’ historic title reigns.
With Cody Rhodes awaiting the victor at WrestleMania 39, this match feels like it is more about Zayn and the Bloodline than the titles. So while I would expect Reigns to retain the titles, I feel that this match will have feature twists and further shocking turns.
Women’s Elimination Chamber Match – Asuka
Wrestler | Latest WWE Odds |
Asuka | -1,250 |
Raquel Rodriguez | +400 |
Liv Morgan | +900 |
Nikki Cross | +1,400 |
Carmella | +2,000 |
Natalya | +2,500 |
Raw Women’s Champion Bianca Belair is in need of a challenger for WrestleMania 39 and, mirroring Bianca’s journey last year, that challenger will need to emerge victorious from the Elimination Chamber.
After months of speculation, Asuka returned to WWE at the Royal Rumble. This Asuka was decidedly different in tone, darker and more vicious than before. Asuka lasted until the final three of the Rumble before being eliminated by the eventual winner, Rhea Ripley.
Asuka fans have long been waiting for a defining WrestleMania moment. For many, WrestleMania 34 should have been her moment but Asuka’s 914-day undefeated streak was ended by Charlotte Flair. Could this year be an opportunity to right a wrong and finally see an indomitable Asuka assert herself on the main roster as she did on NXT? I think that Asuka is rightly the favorite to win the Elimination Chamber and I expect her to dethrone Belair at WrestleMania.
On the flip side, I do feel that Raquel Rodriguez and Liv Morgan have some pretty great odds. Both Morgan and Rodriguez impressed at the Rumble, with Morgan lasting the entire length of the match. Although they are both dark horses for the Elimination Chamber, I would consider wagering on Rodriguez as she could definitely go toe-to-toe with Belair.
